Jean Daigneau has been published in the adult and children’s newspaper and magazine markets, including Highlights and Fun for Kidz, and has sold educational testing material, craft ideas, poetry, and greeting card text.

   Her work has appeared in the Guide to Literary Agents and the Children’s Writers and Illustrators Market. She has done extensive editing for the National Center for Evaluation of Residency Programs and for author Chris Weber’s book, Nurturing the Peacemakers in Our Students, which includes her piece about the School of the Americas. She has also moderated and critiqued for SCBWI events.

   Her picture book manuscript, Tice Davids’ Underground Road, won an honorable mention in the SCBWI Barbara Karlin competition.

   Jean has two books published by Chicago Review Press, Code Cracking for Kids  and Ellis Island and Immigration for Kids.

   Jean is represented by Victoria Selvaggio, of Storm Literary Agency.

   She is a former regional and assistant regional advisor for the SCBWI Northern Ohio and currently serves on the executive board.

 

Gloria G. Adams spent most of her career as a children’s librarian and storyteller.

   She has been published in books and magazines and has two picture books published, Ah-Choo! with co-author Lana Wayne Koehler, Sterling Children’s Books, 2016, and My Underpants are Made from Plants, with co-author Vera J. Hurst, originally published through Schoolwide, Inc., 2015. She has written books on contract for Rosen, Enslow, and Greenhaven Press, and has self-published through her independent publishing company.

   She is represented by Lisa Amstutz of Storm Literary Agency.

   Gloria has done professional critiquing for SCBWI, Third Thursday Publishing, LLC, and various individual authors.

    She has a B.A. in English and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. She is an active member of SCBWI.
